Welcome to Nashville and Middle Tennessee!Welcome to Rosie Mietzel's personal website at Coldwell Banker Barnes, where we take pride in offering old fashioned service with millenium technology. My office is conveniently located on Hwy. 31E in Gallatin, TN between Lowes and Publix shopping centers. The street address for GPS is 940 Memory Lane, Gallatin, TN 37066. The area I service is sometimes referred to just as "Nashville", but this metropolitan region actually encompasses the counties of Sumner, Williamson, Davidson, Wilson, Rutherford and Maury. Each area is distinct, and if you are relocating to the state, you deserve to see and explore them all for their unique characteristics. Affectionately known as "Music City, USA", Nashville's connection with the music industry remains as strong as ever. Visitors would be loath to miss such sights as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Ryman Auditorium . But this is just a part of the important picture of the region's growth. In recent years, Nashville has enjoyed a major economic, educational and cultural expansion which has boosted local tourism as well as job opportunities. Music City Center is the 16-acre site of the new convention center with 1.2 million square feet of exhibit halls, meeting spaces, ballrooms and parking plus a 4-acre green roof scheduled to open in early 2013. Education also plays an important part in the Nashville area, with such nationally-reknown private schools as Vanderbilt University , Tennessee State University, Belmont, Fisk, Cumberland and David Lipscomb Universities operating in the area as well as top-notch public schools including Tennessee Tech, Tennessee State, Austin Peay, and MTSU. The arts are well-represented with the Nashville Symphony, art museums, live theater, and a vibrant music scene. Businesses are relocating to this welcoming area in record numbers. Enjoy the total experience of a quality lifestyle hard to duplicate. Whether you are looking for rural property or an urban lifestyle, I can find your special home! With Old Hickory Lake nearby , there are exceptional waterfront luxury homes and bungalows available for water-lovers. There are beautiful subdivisions in all price ranges as well as properties on one to one thousand acres. Historic districts such as Franklin offer lovingly-restored civil-war era dwellings. Leipers Fork, a Registered National Historic District presents a rural atmosphere and the quaintness of the past and the convenience of the present with farms, ranches and a few remaining examples of late 19th century architecture. Brentwood offers a sophisticated lifestyle, many high-tech companies in Maryland Farms and shopping at Cool Springs Galleria. Belle Meade has an old-world sophistication; Green Hills and its mall offers fine shopping. Gallatin and Hendersonville represent the North side of Nashville, with Old Hickory Lake's world-class fishing (56 boat ramps, 1,800 marina slips) and recreation, beautiful homes, great schools, national companies including GAP, Inc., RR Donnelly and Servpro Industries headquartered in Gallatin and an easy commute to Nashville. Sumner County Regional Airport provides great facilities for private aircraft, both prop and jet, with a 5000 x 100 foot lighted asphalt runway, fuel services (100 low lead & Jet A fuel), corporate hangars, T-hangars, pilots lounge and customer waiting area, and FBO maintenance facility. Mt. Juliet (ranked as Tennessee's Most Business-Friendly City and a zero property tax rate!) and Lebanon (eastern terminus of the new Music City Star commuter rail service) highlight the east side of the Nashville metropolitan area while Smyrna (with a Nissan manufacturing plant) and Murfreesboro (Tennessee's fastest growing major city) represent the southeast region. For city urban living, please consider The Gulch, or West End near Vanderbilt University and Music Row . From castles to condos...the Nashville/Middle Tennessee region has it all!
